This is an impersonal list. I do not know many of these shell traders personally and do not give credence to any of their trade lists. Research the person just as you would any other shell dealer. Talk to (phone or email) the shell trader and get to know them before setting up a deal. Make sure you know and understand their personal policies that they use for grading shells their shells. Know and understand what you are to pay for the shell or what is expected as a trade from you in return. If the person is a reputable shell trader, they won’t mind answering these or any other questions you may have in regards to the sale or trade of his/ her shells.

Remember your shells are precious to you. This goes for everyone! What comes back to you in a trade is someone else's precious (to them) shells. Sometimes you may think that what you sent is more precious than what you receive. Just be as fair in all your dealings as you can! and most of all; HAVE FUN!

I've also added some commercial sites to this page as they will buy certain shells from individuals.

If I ever learn of a disreputable dealer (buyer, seller or trader) on this list, their name will be immediately taken off the list.

My name is Saerens Steven and I live in Belgium.
I've have a lot of shells to trade; a near complete set of fauna from the Pliocene of Belgium as well as unique Miocene fauna, including sands of zonderschot, which are very special as they aren't accessible any more.
I'm not interested in trading for shells only in perfect shark teeth.
