Data: I recently obtained a Volute without a definite identification, and am hoping someone might be able to help out. This 5 inch Melo could possibly be diadema, but my source gave Mabate, Phil. as the locale; however, I'm told diadema isn't found in the P. I. Another suggested possibility is a Melo melo with unusual markings.
